Orphanage: Jajja Flora Happy Children Home in Kira Town, Uganda.
As of December 2023, Jajja Flora had 45 children aged 10 months to 16 years old in her care. In January 2024, Pillar International provided a month long supply of food, household items, self-care items, toiletries and other nutritional items. A lot of these orphans do not go to school due to lack of school fees. More support is needed so we can send a majority of them to nearby schools.
To date, we’ve made sure that the kids within Jajja Flora’s care have access to daily nutritional meals.
As of January 2025, Jajja Flora Orphanage had 43 children. Two older kids graduated out of the program after finishing their vocational training. They are now working and supporting themselves independently.
On-going Orphanage Support: Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Pillar International continues to deliver food and multiple household items to support the orphanage on a quarterly basis.
